The difference between a regular business on main street America and an Internet based business are minimal at best. The Internet business in my opinion has the potential to reach a larger customer base than a standard business and to me that’s exciting. I live in a small yet growing town, in my town there is one or two businesses right on the main drag that constanly change ownership. The changing of the sign out front has become a ritual. One in particular is an Espresso stand, fairly decent location, drive up window. But its one of four in town, Every three months or so someone new takes over, after the last owner has gone broke, and every time the new one comes I promptly run down and buy a cup of coffee, I am all about helping out the new business in town, and each time when I get to the window the Barista greets me with visions of candy canes dancing in her head and as i drive away Gagging on the coffee, I think to myself another one bites the dust. Whats my point. Every one of the owners wants to make it, they even dream of making it. But they fail. Why, because they didn’t really care what the business it was, they just wanted to be their own boss and in doing so they had no passion for coffee or they would have know how to make a cup of coffee that would dance on my tongue and tantalize my taste buds and kept me coming back. Passion Passion Passion, Work Work Work, Working from home. For my self it is great i don’t have to get all primped and primed every morning, heck i don’t even have to get dressed, I am much closer to the coffee pot and its fantastic, But its still Work. The set it and forget it until you cash the check crowd Are liars, it takes work and lots of it and it never stops, and if you end up hating it, then down it goes, this is why I shout from a soapbox, “Find Something That You Are Passionate About!”
